The 06
United Football Club annually hosts an internal soccer
tournament for our youth academy members across all our
academies. This event presents an excellent opportunity to
assess the tactical and technical abilities of our members
acquired over the preceding months. The tournament aims to
foster a dynamic and competitive atmosphere, enhancing their
enthusiasm and dedication to the sport of soccer.
Beside the
regular matches, there has additional match shows in
tournament event.

Points Allocation: Teams
will earn 2 points for a championship title in
Division 1 (D1) and 1 point for a championship
title in Grassroots/Division 2 (D2).
Priority of Division
1 Titles: If
two or more regions accumulate the same total
points, the title will be awarded based on the
number of D1 championships. For example, if
Queens has 2 D1 championships (totaling 4
points) and Staten Island has 1 D1 championship
and 2 D2 championships (also totaling 4 points),
Queens will be declared the 'Regional Grand
Champion' due to having more D1 championships.
Tiebreaker
Rule:In
the event of a tie in points after regular play,
the number of participating teams will determine
the winner of the 'Regional Grand Champion'. For
instance: If Brooklyn has 9 participating teams
and Manhattan has 4, and both have equal points,
Manhattan will be awarded the title of 'Regional
Grand Champion.'
Shared Title: Should
teams remain tied after considering championship
titles and team numbers, both parties will share
the title of 'Regional Grand Champion'.
